McHenry County will be getting a new Sheriff this year. The voters of McHenry County will have to make a decision about who they want to step in and fill that role. The McHenry Township Republican Party would like to invite all the voters of McHenry County to come and meet the candidates and ask them questions and hear their answers, so that they can make an informed decision at the ballot box. Having a good Sheriff is essential to protecting our freedoms, and the rule of law.

The McHenry Township Republican Central Committee is hosting a McHenry County Sheriff Candidates Forum. The event will be held on January 21st at the McHenry Township Hall at 3703 North Richmond Road, Johnsburg, Illinois 60051. The doors will open at 6:00pm and you will have an opportunity to meet the candidates for many of the offices that will be on the ballot this year.

The Candidates Forum will start at 7pm and will end around 8:30. The night will start with an opportunity for the candidates to introduce themselves. After they finish their introductions, they will be answering several
questions written by the McHenry Township Republican Central Committee. We will be accepting written questions from the audience. After the first few questions, the candidates will be asked the questions from the audience. At the end of the night, each candidate will be given an opportunity to make a final statement. We would like to encourage any McHenry County Republican voters to attend and ask your questions.
