A riot, an insurrection and all those “mostly peaceful protest(s)” – it’s all about who controls the language

I swear, when I was watching the ‘news’ coverage Jan. 6, 2021, of the riot at the Capitol, I saw an old man with a walker going through the Capitol building. I’ve since seen video of Capitol Police holding doors and waving people inside. Remember Jake Angeli, the kinda crazy guy with the buffalo headgear, who was inside the Capitol that day? I’ve since seen a photo taken that day where he and Capitol Police are in the halls of the Capitol posing and smiling for the photo. Yet, we’re told that this was an insurrection.

The people telling us this was an insurrection are the same ones who tell us that ‘The Summer of Love – George Floyd riots were “mostly peaceful protests.” Vice President Kamala Harris can bail out rioters in Minneapolis so they can return to the carnage and violence and no one on the Left complains. But imagine what the Left would say about anyone on the right bailing out people involved in the Capitol riot.

The reality is that the Left has sanctioned the riots of 2020. And that sanction of the riots was carried on by Leftists (i.e., Democrats) in the government. If you cut it to the core, the essence of what Leftist Democrats are saying is that the 2020 riots were justified. What happened to George Floyd represented a crime against humanity perpetrated by ‘White Supremacists.’

But Americans who react with outrage when they believe an election has been stolen by the Left, are guilty of insurrection as long as the Leftist Democrats can find any excuse to spin it that way. And, now that they spun it that way, they’re determined to get every possible mile out of their fabrication – the ‘insurrection.’

Immediately after the Jan. 6th event, I knew that the Leftist Democrats were using the event to stockpile political ammunition. I knew we would hear about Jan. 6 in the 2022 Midterms and I knew we’d hear about it in the runup to the 2024 presidential election. But, I will admit I misjudged the Leftist Democrats.

I forgot how creatively pernicious they are about abusing the truth – about abusing the language. I didn’t picture them actually arresting Donald Trump and trying to convict him quickly to somehow keep him off the 2024 ballot or defeat him. I didn’t imagine them using their ‘naming’ him an insurrectionist, regardless of the lack of a conviction or even charges, to take him off ballots in Leftist Democrat controlled states.

Let’s not forget that these are the same people who fabricated a “Russian-Collusion” charge, paid for by the Democrat National Committee and the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign committee, that tied up the Trump administration for 2-1/2 years.

The Leftist media was so pervasive in its contribution to the Russian-Collusion lie that there are those among them today who carry on that lie. This has left us with members of the public who are so out of touch, or so willingly deceived that they still believe there is something to the story.

Of course, this is hardly the only example of Leftist Democrats violating language to fit their agenda. Maybe it started with naming an abortion merely “a choice” (the Leftists use “Pro-Choice” to describe their side while they define those who are “Pro-Life” as “Anti-Abortion” or “Anti-Choice”). But look at what else it has given us with their manipulation of language:

Terms, such as “White Guilt” and “White Supremacy” are fabrications of the Leftist Democrats that cast a taint over the world and an entire race while ensuring that we look upon the world with racist-tinted goggles. It divides us into a false dichotomy of “oppressors” and the “oppressed.”

Leftist Democrats are fine with calling conservatives rightwing and, particularly, rightwing extremists. But you’re not liable to see Leftist Democrats described as leftwing and certainly not leftwing extremists. The acceptable term for Leftist Democrats is “Progressives.”

Leftist Democrats essentially drove the term “illegal aliens’ out of our public vocabulary years ago. Even ‘illegal immigrants’ is verboten with the Leftist Democrat control of the lexicon of our language. “Undocumented immigrant” and, preferably, “undocumented noncitizen” are the preferred terms. In fact, in April of 2021, the Biden administration made it official that the term “illegal alien” is not allowed for use by federal agencies.

None of this, however, changes reality. A “racist” is still someone who bases their opinions of others based on the color of their skin. An “extremist” is still someone who has radical views far beyond the middle ground (there are, no doubt, more rightwing “extremists” today, compared to a decade ago but there are a massive number of truly leftwing “extremists” today).

And calling someone an “undocumented noncitizen” doesn’t change the fact that they’ve entered our country illegally. The same is true about what happened during the 2020 “Summer of Love.” Those riots were not 'mostly peaceful', and there was nothing ‘loving’ about them. And the protests that, in some cases, devolved into riots Jan. 6, 2021, were no more an “insurrection” than the idea that Joe Biden has no idea about Hunter’s sale of Joe’s influence around the world. Or that 'Bidenomics' is working. Or that Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan was a success and not the worst military withdrawal in world history.
