Has DHS Secretary defined you as a terrorist?
By Rich Rostron03/01/2022
Are you a terrorist? Of course not. You obey all the traffic signs. You pay your taxes (well, most of them). You even volunteer to help with charitable organizations in your community. In other words, there's no way you could be a terrorist.
Not so quick!
According to a Feb. 7 National Terrorism Advisory System (NTAS) Bulletin from Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkis...you might very well be a terrorist.
Have you spread misinformation? Before you jump up and say, "NO WAY!" keep in mind that the DHS has its own metrics for determining what makes a terrorist. And that includes their own determination of what is or isn't "misinformation."
In his bulletin, Mayorkis wrote:
"The United States remains in a heightened threat environment fueled by … an online environment filled with false or misleading narratives and conspiracy theories …". He goes on to say that these threats may be "amplified by foreign and domestic threat actors."
Again, Myorkis puts it this way:
"These threat actors seek to exacerbate societal friction to sow discord and undermine public trust in government institutions to encourage unrest, which could potentially inspire acts of volence."
Mayorkis says that the "threat landscape" hasn't changed, but that "the convergence of the following factors has increased the volatility, unpredictability, and complexity of the threat environment:
- The proliferation of false or misleading narratives, which sow discord or undermine public trust in U.S. government institutions
- "...Continued calls for violence directed at U.S. critical infrastructure; soft targets and mass gatherings; faith-based institutions, such as churches, synagogues, and mosques; institutions of higher education; racial and religious minorities; government facilities and personnel, including law enforcement and the military; the media; and perceived ideological opponents …"
- The DHS is spending $77 million on a "National Priority Area" within DHS.
- DHS is also spending $180 million to "support target hardening and other physical security enhancements to non-profit organizations …"
- The list also includes activities without the price tag, though it's doubtful anything the DHS does is free to taxpayers.

When you consider the shifting nature of "misinformation," it's no wonder some may find this 'Bulletin' alarming. Consider that the following were considered "misinformation:"
COVID Related:
- To suggest that COVID came from the Wuhan Lab (widely accepted as true today)
- To suggest that you could catch COVID after receiving the vaccine (LOL)
- That masks are effective in stopping the spread of COVID (only one type of mask is remotely effective and they need those for people in the medical field)
- That Dr. Fauci and the NIH never paid for Gain-of-Function experiments in the Wuhan Lab (though Fauci continues to deny it, and call Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) names, there is no doubt about this today)
- That natural immunity isn't terribly effective (John Hopkins has now told us that its three-to-six times as effective as the vaccine)
- To suggest that the Democrats were spying on Trump (Special Counsel John Durham has just let that cat out of the bag - the Democrats DID spy on Trump, both as a candidate and as president)
- To suggest that the Steele Dossier was a fabrication (sorry, the originator of that document has admitted its nonsense)
- That Trump has ties to Russian banks (also disproven by Durham)
- That the "Laptop from Hell" - Hunter Biden's laptop full of porn, child porn and drug use, wasn't Russian 'disinformation'
- That Joe Biden and his family have deep financial ties with foreign countries, including China, where the intermediary is a leading figure in China's intelligence community (turns out that's true, too)
- That Lafayette Square was not cleared for Pres. Trump to have a photo op (turns out that's true, too - it was not cleared for a photo op)
